Hypnosis - Change your mind, Change your life.

Reflective Mind Hypnosis specializes in helping people change through the power of hypnosis. Hypnosis happens to everybody everyday naturally. The only way to truly make lasting changes is though the power of hypnosis which reprograms your sub conscious.

Lose Weight, Stop Smoking, Control Pain, eliminate fears, change negative programming, eliminate habits

Hypnosis is frequently misunderstood. A person cannot be hypnotized unless they are willing. It is a natural state-of-mind each of us experiences every day.

Hypnotism traces back historically before 1500 BC, to ancient Greece, India, Asia and Hebrew, in addition to Hippocrates, 'the father of medicine', who described the power of positive thought brought about by hypnotism as the healing power of nature, when 'the affliction suffered by the body, the soul sees quite well with the eyes shut'."

The dictionary definition of Hypnosis is:…

“an artificially induced trance state resembling sleep, characterized by heightened susceptibility to suggestion.”

My definition is…

“the state of mind achieved when the conscious, analytical mind is bypassed (relaxation) and the subconscious mind is in a heightened state of awareness.”

Imagine your conscious mind as the gatekeeper or filter of all stimuli and the subconscious mind as the storehouse of everything you've ever witnessed or experienced. In order to access the subconscious, we need to bypass the conscious mind which is done via deep relaxation, hypnosis.

Bio of Wayland Walker

Wayland Walker was born in 1961 and raised on a humble ranch outside of Dallas, Texas. Coming from a broken home, he decided at a young age to do something great with his life. He dreamt of a time when he could travel freely, have material wealth and make a difference in people's lives.

At eleven, he started training in the martial art of Tae Kwon Do. This training taught him discipline, dedication and the determination to reach his goals. After 7 years of hard work, he attained the rank of 1st Degree Black Belt. He became interested in hypnosis during his high school years while training as an amateur kick boxer. He was fascinated with the hypnosis techniques one of his trainers used within his training regimen.

Wayland continued to study the martial arts, eventually becoming a teacher and director of his own martial arts school. He currently holds a 5th Degree Black Belt in Chinese Goju, a 4th Degree in Tae Know Do and has trained in various other martial art styles. While serving in the Army, he was a member of the “All Army Karate Team”, based out of Fort Benning Georgia, from 1981 to 1983. While stationed in Fort Benning, Wayne became the youngest Ranger Units and Special Units instructor in advanced hand to hand combat.

Hungry for knowledge and passionate about fulfilling his childhood dreams, Wayland's  studies and interests led him to explore human nature, personalities, body talk, sales skills and sales management. He regularly attended self improvement seminars and took advantage of any audio tapes and books available to him. He quickly became a valuable team member at every job he held.

His interest in the field of hypnosis never diminished and his ever present curiosity led him to attend HMI in Los Angeles in 1998 and become a Certified Hypnotherapist in late 1999. Over the years hypnosis, like the martial arts, has helped him in all of his business endeavors as well as his personal relationships.

Today, Wayland proudly makes a difference in people's lives with his extensive knowledge and talented skills in hypnosis and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP). He successfully helps his clients manage stress, overcome their sleep issues, quit smoking, lose weight, and improve their performance in all areas of their lives. He also helps people develop their focus skills and conquer their procrastination issues.

Wayland helps his clients eliminate the self limiting beliefs that lead to destructive behaviors, usually in just a few sessions! Most people live their entire lives without understanding why they are their own worst enemy. Wayland dedicates his life to helping people become their own best friend.

As a professional speaker and trainer, Wayland has developed programs for corporations for stress management, sales, and management training. His newest program, currently in development, is titled “Mobilizing People to Accomplish…”.

Wayne Walker is a master hypnotist who works with people to lead them through these changes.

Paws Clinic

Humane Society of Harlingen/PAWS Low Cost Spay Neuter Clinic.

Paws clinic is my recommended place to take pets for Spraying and Neutering in Harlingen. I usually take my pets to Altas Palmas Animal Clinic . However, I was finding it quite expensive.

We acquired a new kitten last year. It's a total pain in the ass. We took it to the vet and had initial shoots done. We needed follow up shots and to have her fixed. We just never had a couple of hundred dollars laying around.

Well, she finally went into heat. Living with it was becoming very aggravating. Our son's occupational therapist suggested we try Paws.

Shots and surgery only came to $70. Even though the price was discounted, the customer service was not. Arguably, the service at Paws was better.

Paws is directly behind the animal clinic on Marcowsky in Harlingen.
